Madden inducted into California Hall of Fame

images-1Football great and Cal Poly graduate John Madden was one of 13 Californians inducted into the state Hall of Fame Tuesday night. Madden, who has also enjoyed a lucrative broadcasting and TV pitchman career joined a distinguished group that included filmmaker George Lucas, gay rights activist Harvey Milk, and actress Carol Burnett.

The ceremony was hosted by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and First Lady Maria Shriver. The Hall of Fame is part of the California Museum in downtown Sacramento.
