HUMAN WEATHER REPORT Horoscopes January 6 – 15

January 7, 2010 12:39 am

 Aries (March 21-April 19)

You are a busy beaver this new year. You may be thinking about making some big changes in your life. And doesn’t it seem like you’re running into everyone from the past? Especially authority figures like teachers, bosses, parents and the police. You could even be dealing with some issues from the past that have cropped up due to both Mercury (mind/communication) and Mars (energy- both good and not so good) are in retrograde patterns. Look for change such as reactivated, re-docorate, reseach, redo, renovate, review. Mars has left your fourth house of home and family and is cruising your fifth house of creativity, taking risks, activities with children and love affairs until the middle of June, so if you haven’t picked up a paintbrush in a while, this may be a good time to make some fresh stokes in your life. The eclipses that are happening now will allow you to close doors, so that others will open to you. The full moon lunar eclipse in Cancer, ruling home and family, has had you preparing to fix up your domicile for the fun of it, or because you want to sell it and move on. And the new moon solar eclipse in Capricorn on January 13, will shed a new light on your career possibilities. For you single Aries, romance with someone older, in authority and more experienced could be either rekindled or initiated. Looks like both you and your home are going to look snappy!

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

Life is getting exciting again. The word exotic comes to mind, with a stellium of planets making their mark in your ninth house of higher education, media, publishing, law, medicine and most importantly, foreign cultures. You have the urge to take your life to a new and wiser plateau. it is time to plant seeds for the future and then return to support those desires. Now that you’re in that future with the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Pluto pulling for you, some of those desires you imagined are back in your lap for re-evaluation to make them come true. Jupiter, the planet of expansion, is crossing what we call the mid-heaven or career department of your life. You may be taking classes to enhance your career, or teaching someone. Some of you could even be returning to a far off place that you’ve always wanted to return to. Wherever it may be, it involves higher wisdom for you and others. Jupiter and Neptune are transiting your tenth house of career making. Any expansion in that area looks to be very successful. On the home front, Mars has an unusually long stay in your fourth house of home and family until June. Now would be the time to think about fixing up things at home, so you can focus on more exotic ventures. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and is only available to you, dear Taurus (and those of you with Taurus rising). Use it or lose it.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Some of you have some leftover loose ends to wrap up concerning old debts, shared property, inheritances, divorce settlements, child support, unpaid tickets for late registration, etc. The Sun, Mercury, Venus and Pluto in Capricorn are there to support you while transiting your eighth house of things you own jointly with someone else. To help you handle these annoying matters, Mars is in Leo in your third house of communication. You say what you mean and mean what you say, but in a very clever, diplomatic way. Once you get this monkey off your back, you can take advantage of the party that is going on in your ninth house of higher education, the media, publishing, movie production, religious and/or spiritual involvement and foreign or long distant travel. Both Jupiter (expansion/ luck) and Neptune (a higher octave of Venus of how we would love our lives to be) are working in unison. This is a special event that only takes place every 12 or 13 years. Some of you will have the uncontrollable desire to get out of Dodge. To help you pay off your debts and buy those plane tickets, play the lottery up until January 21. Sun conjunct Venus in the house of ‘other people’s money’ may pay off. You see how it works? The Universe giveth, after it taketh away.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

Some Cancers are reluctant to let things go, including people. There’s an emphasis for you this year on relationships. Both the full moon lunar eclipse in your sign on Dec 31 and the new moon solar eclipse in Capricorn on January 14 will illuminate how you relate to not only yourself, but to significant others in your life. Currently, you’ve got the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Pluto opposite your sign in Capricorn, transiting your seventh house of partnerships and long term friendships. This is a two fold process, one of talking things over and listening to what people have to say to you. If you take the latter to heart, it will mirror how you are relating. Make adjustments where needed. Some people from the past may come into your life, especially with Pluto digging things up until 2024. Moving on, Mars is in Leo in your second house of earned income for a long stay- until the middle of June. This is a great thing, except that it’s in a retrograde pattern for now. Use this next couple of months for planning. Do you value how you make your money? Are there better, more expansive ways to step up your game? Crystallize exactly what it is you want and organize your work methods to utilize Mars energy from mid-March through June. You’ll manage to create the snow ball effect that could last into your future. And just for the fun of it, buy some lottery tickets up through February 3. With both Jupiter (luck/ expansion) and Neptune (higher octave of Venus) cruising your eighth house of other people’s money, who knows, you could take us all on a needed vacation.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

The year begins with a stellium of planets in your sixth house of work, service, health and pets. The Sun, Mercury, Venus and Pluto are in Capricorn. Start a healthy exercise program and get checkups (for you and your pets). If you’ve had an ongoing health issue, it may be what you’re eating. Add more raw foods to your diet, like kale, beets, pomegranates and almonds. With Mars in your sign until June, it’s all about strengthening and revitalizing. Yoga is a great way to build bodily strength and help you relax. Your career may need a boost and relaxing puts you in a more thoughtful space to make plans for expansion. Speaking of which, Jupiter (luck/ expansion) and dreamy Neptune (the higher vibration of Venus of how we would love our lives to be) are transiting in unison through your seventh house of long term relationships. You may be offered some great opportunities through friends at this time. There’s a warning for those of you that are wondering if a significant other could sweep away all your problems, if you were to marry them. This would not be a good time to make a life long decision of that caliber, as Neptune can cast a delusional haze over anything it touches. When you’ve finished getting yourself in order by the end of the year, then reconsider any binding partnerships. With Mars in your sign until June, there is nothing you can’t do or have, all on your own. This could be the year that changes your life path forever.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

You’ve started the new year with a bang. The full moon Lunar Eclipse in Cancer cast a bright beam on your eleventh house of hopes, dreams, friends, groups and humanitarian efforts. Old flames, friends and children that have old business with you will emerge. You’re seeing those around you in a different light. Some of them look better in the light and some are exposed as secret enemies. With all that’s going on in your chart, you have the urge to sweep away anyone or anything that is poisoning your efforts to move forward with your dreams. Eclipses always come in twos to represent the whole package. The next one coming is the new moon Solar Eclipse on January 14 in the opposite sign of Capricorn- falling in your fifth house of children, love affairs, taking risks and creativity. This all translates to out with the old and in with the new. Just be aware that if you do run into an old flame that you suddenly adore once more, be sure that you’re single. Mars (energy) in the strong sign of Leo, is in a retrograde pattern transiting your twelfth house of the subconscious until mid-March, so you’ll have mornings when you wake up tired after all the work you do at night. New creations triggered from your subconscious mind will come forth while you’re sleeping. Keep a dream journal and pen handy on the night table for daily epiphanies. It’s lucky that you have both jolly Jupiter (luck/ expansion) and optimistic Neptune (spiritual connection with the Universe) conjunct in the sign of Aquarius cruising your sixth house of work (service, health and pets). Because as tired as you may be from all those powerful dreams, you’ll still bounce out of bed and whistle your way off to work.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

You want harmony in your life and balance is your forte. Right now you may have some landlord or familial issues that have to be addressed. Do you need to spend less time away and more time at home? The Sun, Mercury, Venus and Pluto in Capricorn are lighting up your fourth house of home and family. The full moon Lunar Eclipse in Cancer in your tenth house of career was opposing change. The way nature works, it’s out with the old to present something new. If you’re having problems coming up with remedies, the new moon Solar Eclipse in Capricorn on January 14 will help refresh your home situation. Mars in Leo in your eleventh house of groups, friends, hopes and dreams may be taking up a lot of your time. If it’s just for social events, the party is over. If it’s a humanitarian effort for local non-profit organization, then try to work from home more. With both jolly Jupiter and optimistic Neptune in your fifth house of activities with children, love affairs, taking risks and creativity, at least you’ll enjoy decorating or spending time with the kids. And, you single Libran’s may meet the person of your dreams. You see how it works? The Universe taketh away, so it can make room to giveth. Something like that.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Are you feeling like the Universe is working against you? You feel like you’re dancing the three step. One step forward, two steps backward. Have you or someone else missed an important meeting or sales closing? You can’t seem to get out what you would like to say? Communications, dealings with siblings and neighbors, emails, faxes, travel plans, mechanical or electrical devises are not working properly? Ah. Well, you just had a full moon Lunar Eclipse opposing Mercury retrograde in your third house of mind and communication. That’s what I like about Astrology. There’s an explanation for everything. Luckily, you have the Sun, Venus and Pluto helping you to overcome some of those annoyances and wrap up any projects you’re working on. At least you have Mars in Leo positioned in your tenth house of career. It too is retrograde, so use this time to research for some really big plans. Are you thinking about moving on up through your company or starting your own firm? The new moon Solar Eclipse in Capricorn on January 14 will help you crystallize the very idea of what you truly want so you can focus on it. You may feel more comfortable with your home scene now or you may have found a better option since Jupiter (luck/ expansion) and Neptune (higher octave of Venus of how we would love things to be) are conjunct in your fourth house of home and family. Keep that Scorpionic gaze fixed on the prize and it’s yours. Music to your ears – I know.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Your mind is on money right now. You want to value how you make your living and you want to be successful. The reason you’re feeling this way is that you are tired of old issues. This could have something to do with the way you used to earn money or previous employers that owe you money. For those of you that have been shafted in the recent past, you’re just plain fed up with being broke all the time. Or this could be about something you own. Whatever it is, you are ready to roll up your sleeves and make some big plans a reality, once and for all. The Sun, Mercury, Venus and Pluto in Capricorn are transiting your second house of earned money and values. Like the third little pig that built the house out of bricks, you’re ready to create something that is going to be big and last for long into the future. Get your bow out, as you have some arrows to shoot. Mars in Leo is in your ninth house of higher wisdom to help you see the big picture. And both Jupiter (luck/ expansion) and Neptune (higher octave of Venus of how we want things to be) are in the third house of mind and communication in Aquarius. You’ve got some genius ideas on how to make money. Do you have a special skill you want to advertise or you might even have some inventions that everyone would want to buy. Research who you need to speak to for advice and find out what needs to be done. I suggest you purchase a nice journal from a foreign country to write down everything racing through your mind, because that’s about as close as you’re going to get to traveling for a while. Smell that leather? If you get just two of those arrows to land and take hold, you’ll be able to travel to wherever that journal’s from by year’s end. I promise.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Whoooeee. The biggest, baddest line-up is rocking your world. The Sun, Mercury, Venus and Pluto are all in Capricorn. And to top it all off, the current eclipses are all about you, as well. It’s out with the old and in with the new. By January 14, you will have eliminated some outdated habits (this could include some no longer needed relationships). You’ll have the feeling like you’re starting a fresh new chapter in your life.  In the mean time, the full moon Lunar Eclipse that happened in your seventh house of partnerships and relationships shed a huge light on how you need to relate to others close to you. As hard as this process is, it’s even harder with Mercury in a retrograde pattern, leaving you feeling a bit confused and forgetful. “The meeting with the lawyer is in an hour? I thought it was tomorrow.”. Relax, this is not going to be chronic. Everyone is going through this in some way. Just keep a notebook or journal with all your dates, times and important information. And with Mars in Leo (also retrograde) in your eighth house of shared resources, this is a good time to review your options and get some good advice. Try to push off any big decisions until the end of March when the planets are in a direct motion giving you their full energy and attention. If this next couple of months are used to their benefit, you have an opportunity to solidify and make better sense of things to secure any matters at hand. The good news is that both Jupiter (luck/ expansion) and Neptune (the higher octave of Venus of how we want our lives to be) in Aquarius are transiting your second house of earned money. Earning more money always makes the grass grow greener, right? At least it will pay for the therapy.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

You’ve were handed a huge gift on January 6 of 2009. Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion, went into your sign to give you the enthusiasm to create whatever you wanted. The Universe provides this gift but once every twelve years for twelve months. You have until January 18 of this month to finish up what’s bubbling on the back burner. At least try to secure the majority of what you started. In other areas, the current full moon Lunar Eclipse happened in your your sixth house of work, service, health and pets. Be sure to handle any problems at work with diplomacy and get checkups for you and your furry friend. If you are not on an exercise program, January 14 on the new moon, is a good time to start one. With Mars in Leo in your seventh house of partnerships and significant others, you may be in the planning stages of marriage or taking your relationships to a new level. The big line-up are the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Pluto in Capricorn- hidden in your twelfth house of the subconscious. You need lots more rest, sleep and meditative thought. Use this powerful time to help answer any questions you might have about structuring your life after you’ve become a huge success and married the person of your dreams. Ok, I’m getting a little carried away. But there’s a little known fact that applies to most people- they fear success. What are we to do if there are no problems?

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

The Universe is about to hand you a big present that only comes around about seven times in a lifetime. Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion, is about to go into your sign on January 17 for a full year. The process of getting ready for this event is unfolding in a quite interesting way for you Pisces. The full moon Lunar Eclipse in Cancer in your fifth house of creativity, revealed how you might find the answer to your success. The key may be in the opposite eleventh house of friends, groups and organizations. With the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Pluto in that house, others may have something to reveal, making you feel that what you thought was an impossibility, may be quite possible. Keep your ears open and your eyes open and you’ll discover a better way of doing things. You may get some good tips or you might hear someone’s sad story that steers you in the right direction. Many times we find out what not to do by learning through other people’s experiences. Get yourself a journal and write down exactly what you want in your life. You know what they say; “The pen is in your hand and you are the author of your life”. These next two weeks are a very powerful time for you to clarify the path you want your life to take, spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally and financially. Mars is in Leo in your sixth house of health. Get your checkups, go on a good healthy diet and start a rigorous exercise plan January 14 on the new moon Solar Eclipse. Otherwise, Jupiter will definitely cause you to put weight on. Ask the rest of us that are still trying to lose that last twenty pounds.

NOTE: When reading any horoscopes, be sure to read your Ascendant or Rising Sign first. (ALL horoscopes are written to the Ascendant.) Then your Sun and Moon signs – to get a better picture of what is in store for you personally. If you don’t know your chart and need assistance, email me with your date, place and time of birth and I’ll look it up for you.

For Everyone:

If you’ve seen the movie Avatar, then you know that the theme is that all things, including us, are a part of nature. Mercury (mind/communication) and Mars (energy- both good and not so good) are in retrograde patterns. Nature has it’s ways – and when she speaks, we have to listen. Astrologer’s use the same Ephemeris Tables as captains of seafaring ships, astronauts and farmers. It’s all about when to initiate something. Farmers can certainly tell you that there’s a good time to plant seeds and there’s a good time to make plans to plant seeds. Until the third week in March, it’s the latter for humans. Anything to do with redoing is a good idea now. Redocorate, reseach, redo, renovate, review, renew, revise- get the picture? And for those of you that are taking off for far off destinations, recheck your travel plans a couple of times. You may find that one of the connecting airlines, hotels or rental companies is no longer in service.

We are in the midst of two eclipses in the Capricorn/ Cancer polarity. The full moon Lunar Eclipse on December 31 was in Cancer and the new moon Solar Eclipse is in Capricorn on January 17. These happen in different departments of people’s life depending on where they fall, but they are basically about finding balance between career and home. Many people have others in their life that need more attention at home. If single, there may still be a need to handle things at work or with a landlord or roommate. Students that live in dorms have their own set of problems – all built in. Taking all this down to it’s simplest denominator, If we all take care of ourselves first, we can handle finding balance in other areas of our lives. By the way, on that new moon eclipse, make ten wishes concerning building structure in your life in areas that need it. Capricorn is all about building things up that will last a long time.

On a higher note: There’s a party going on wherever you have Aquarius in your chart. Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion, is conjunct with Neptune- the higher octave of Venus. This opportunity to expand an area of your life the way you would love it be is a special event that should not be missed. You look to your rising sign to see where they land. Aries rising has them in their eleventh house, Taurus in the tenth, Gemini in the ninth, Cancer in the eighth, Leo in the seventh, Virgo in the sixth, Libra in the fifth, Scorpio in the fourth, Sagittarius in the third, Capricorn in the second, Aquarius in the first and Pisces in the twelfth house. Everyone has all 360 degrees of the Zodiac in their chart. To determine how your own personal chart lays out, email me and I’ll look it up for you. Be sure to take advantage of this rare and glorious opportunity that comes once every 12 years.
