The month of July may be coming to an end, but the many events on the Central Coast show no sign of slowing down.

Take yourself back to the day of knights and ladies-in-waiting on Friday with the Central Coast Shakespeare Festival in Paso Robles. This year the festival will be showcasing William Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night” as well as “The Gamester,” a play by Freyda Thomas. The festival runs every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from July 9 to Aug. 14 with “Twelfth Night” and “The Gamester” alternating every weekend. The show will be held at the River Oaks Amphitheatre at 800 Clubhouse Drive. For show times and ticket information visit centralcoastshakespeare.org.

Keep the fun going in North County with a visit to Silver Horse Winery in San Miguel and the California Mid-State Fair. Start your Saturday off with a bang by creating your own custom blend with winemaker Carl Bowker of Caliza Winery. No experience is necessary and attendants will even get the chance to put their name on a wine bottle. The event is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and reservations are recommended. After enjoying some wine tasting and blending, get your sober designated driver behind the wheel and head over to the Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles to check out Morris Day and the Time. The “Jungle Love” crooners will be playing at the fair on the Fort Frontier Stage at 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. The show is free with paid admission into the fair.

If you forgot to sign your kids up for the tennis camp held at Cuesta College don’t worry because another tennis camp will be held at Sinsheimer Park Monday, July 26 through Thursday, July 29. The camp is open to young children and teens looking to perfect that back swing. All levels of experience are welcome but there will be specialized training for the more experienced player. The camp is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and registration costs $220. For more information contact the City of San Luis Parks and Recreation Department.

For the younger children not into tennis, take them over to the San Luis Obispo Children’s Museum to see folk singer Nancy Cassidy sing classic children’s songs. The one-day event is from 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.

Parents, enjoy a relaxing Wednesday night at home and send the teenagers to see Anuhea and The Green. The Hawaiian native (whose real name is Rylee Anuheake’alaokalokelani Jenkins), will bring her soulful-pop-reggae sound to Downtown Brewing Company July 28. Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door. The show begins at 7:30 p.m.
