Stabbing victim remains unidentified

August 23, 2011

A yet-unidentified 55-year-old man was found stabbed to death Monday afternoon in a Paso Robles motel and police are seeking a man known only as “Poncho.”

A 911 call led police to the Farmhouse Motel at 425 Spring Street, according to a department statement, where the body was discovered. An autopsy is scheduled.

Officers have described the suspect as an Hispanic male with dark hair, about 40 years old, 5 feet, six inches tall, last seen driving an older Ford Ranger pickup truck. Authorities said “Poncho” may be headed for the University of California Santa Cruz campus with three other people, a white man and two white women. One of the women may have a Russian accent.

I’m the guy that all the SLO tin hat wearers worry about.

Hope that makes sense to you.

How do they know the victim is 55 years old. Did they count his teeth? Or maybe they counted his rings like with trees, or maybe they checked his fishing license. I suggest you ask the person who told you his age. I should have been a detective. I am real smart in figuring out people problems.

God bless this gentleman that died, may he rest in peace.

When the Next of Kin are notifed, no doubt his name will be made public.

Relax

If they were just waiting to notify his next of kin to release his name, they normally say so and don’t call the person “unidentified”.

I guess the news report this AM from KPRL was wrong when they stated that his identity is being withheld , pending next of kin notification.

The article is another that is poorly written.

Just curious . . . black pilot or black copter?
