SLO County high schools planning new leagues

December 24, 2012

Principals at high schools in San Luis Obispo and Northern Santa Barbara Counties will vote on proposed changes to athletic leagues in March which are slated to change the face of high school sports. [KSBY]

One of the proposals, for all sports except football, is to have Arroyo Grande, Atascadero, Mission Prep, Morro Bay, San Luis Obispo and Templeton in league one. League two would consist of eight Northern Santa Barbara County high schools including Cabrillo, Lompoc, Orcutt Academy, Pioneer Valley, Righetti, Santa Maria, Saint Josephs and Santa Ynez.

The second proposal calls for four leagues, each with four schools, for football only.

In proposal two, league one features Arroyo Grande, Atascadero, Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo. League two consists of Mission Prep, Moro Bay, Nipomo and Templeton. League three schools are Cabrillo, Orcutt Academy, Santa Maria and Santa Ynex. League four includes Lompoc, Pioneer valley, Righetti and Saint Josephs.

If passed, the new leagues would go into effect for the 2014-15 school year.

Currently, schools from both counties are split into two leagues, Pac 7 and Los Padres Leagues. The Pac 7 consists of Arroyo Grande, Atascadero, Paso Robles, Pioneer Valley Righetti, St. Joseph and San Luis Obispo High Schools. The Los Padres League includes Cabrillo, Lompoc, Morro Bay, Nipomo, Santa Maria, Santa Ynez and Templeton.

Dear Santa,

Uncle Ted wants a rainbow flag for Christmas. He is afraid to ask you, so he made me write this… You know the whole ” he doth protest too much” thing…

Thanks,

Timmy

High school football? My Christian friends, this game is truly ungodly!

This is a game where 22 men in tights and netted half-shirts repeatedly dive over and over again into large homo-erotic piles, of which the goal is to “penetrate the backfield” and get into the “end-zone” with an inexplicably elongated ball. The good plays are rewarded with pats on the @ss and forward erotic “bumping” in the “end-zone”.

With members of the team known as “tight ends”, “wide receivers”, and “full backs”, it puts those names into the minds of our sons and is truly despicable, let alone watching its homosexual outcomes with each play.

Do we TRUE Christians want to promote this type of game to our sons? You know damn well that we Christians accept the godly axiom that becoming a homosexual is “chosen” by the person in question. Remember? We have to accept that it is not genetically predisposed at birth as Satanic Science wants us to believe.

Therefore, do we TRUE Christians want to promote this type of homo-erotic game to our sons as described above, where it may sway them into “choosing” to have homosexual desires because of being in continuos homosexual positions and talk within the game? The end result, no pun intended, is that they could “choose” to become homosexual because of football! Therefore, why entice our sons with such a homosexual game to begin with?

If our sons enjoy the brutality aspects of football, then let them stay home and read our bible where the brutality of our God is without question, and is shown ad infinitum within scriptures, praise!

Sometimes I think Ted is serious. Other times I think he’s a wind-up artist with a solid working knowledge of the bible. Either way, this is by far his most entertaining comment to date. Merry Christmas, Theodore!
