Drug dealer arrested at SLO Budget Inn

drug bustDeputies arrested three people after discovering an alleged heroin operation at the Budget Inn in San Luis Obispo on Wednesday.

Responding to a tip, San Luis Obispo County Sheriff deputies made contact with three people in the hotel room. During a search of the room, deputies found six ounces of heroin valued at $9,000, methamphetamine, $1,700 in cash, a digital scale and a samurai sword.

Deputies arrested Lance Anthony Lodolo, 30, of Morro Bay for possession of heroin for sale and for committing a felony while out on felony bail.

Both Clifton Puett, 36, of Morro Bay and Alichia Renee Starnes, 33, of Los Osos were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.

A samurai sword? Good thing they got caught with it in their hotel room. The City of San Luis Obispo’s ordinance prohibits the carry of blades that are 3 inches or longer. (9.16.010 “Dangerous and deadly weapons—Defined”).
