Fewer children, more elderly in California

January 9, 2013

hands2The number of children in California is on the decline, while the number of elderly is on the rise and fewer people are moving to the state, according to a new report that argues the state will have to rely on fewer people to prop up its economy in the future. [SFGate]

“After decades of burgeoning population and economic growth…the state now faces a very different prospect,” said the report released Tuesday by the University of Southern California and the Lucile Packard Foundation.

In the 1970s, according to the report, California averaged 21 seniors for every 100 working-age adults. By 2030, that ratio is expected to rise to 36 seniors per 100 working-age adults placing “massive pressure on institutions and programs for an aging population.”

“We’re shrinking our base while we’re growing our top, and that’s not sustainable,” said Dowell Myers, the author of the report. “It’s surprising to have any drop. We’ve always been a growth state.”

Fertility rates for California women went from 2.14 babies in 2000 to 1.94 in 2010, a figure below the 2.1 births demographers say is needed to keep population levels stable. By 2020, the rate is projected to be 1.89 births. The declines have been noted in all ethnic groups in the state.

bvcsHey Ted, which “flavor” of “Christianity do want. Catholics are technically “Christians.” I happen

to be an atheist but I’m humping just as fast as I can.

For Christ’s sake Slanders you really can get disgusting can’t you? Or maybe you’re just worried you won’t get your social security checks if too few babies are born?

As to family size, most legal Americans have stopped reproducing herds of offspring because of the cost to raise those offspring. The average is around 1.5 per household.

As to the influx of ILLEGALs who breed like rabbits as shown by recent data, they have taken over both the voting pool and the demographic here in CA, not to mention they cost us legal taxpayers billions… The idea that you can invade a neighboring country (unchecked and unstopped, without consequence) and with the help of liberal legislators and sancutary cities simply because you can, is completely outrageous but understandable from “their” point of view. There is accountability or enforcement…

The blame for all this lies directly at the feet of those who gain to benefit and our legislators who continue to approve the invasion for politcal reasons.

We as taxpayers pay more and more to support this invasion and IMHO because the current legal resident population is aging and paying, this will continue to grow…

There is NO accountability or enforcement…

My bad.

Like us Americans did in the Mexican-American War?

We paid cash,

Gadsden Purchase, 1853-1854

The Gadsden Purchase, or Treaty, was an agreement between the United States and Mexico, finalized in 1854, in which the United States agreed to pay Mexico $10 million for a 29,670 square mile portion of Mexico that later became part of Arizona and New Mexico. Gadsden’s Purchase provided the land necessary for a southern transcontinental railroad and attempted to resolve conflicts that lingered after the Mexican-American War.

While the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo formally ended the Mexican-American War in February 1848, tensions between the Governments of Mexico and the United States continued to simmer over the next six years. The two countries each claimed the Mesilla Valley as part of their own country. The Mexican Government demanded monetary compensation for Native American attacks in the region because, under the Treaty, the United States had agreed to protect Mexico from such attacks; however, the United States refused to comply, insisting that while they had agreed to protect Mexico from Native American attacks, they had not agreed to financially compensate for attacks that did occur. The persistent efforts of private American citizens to enter Mexico illegally and incite rebellions in an effort to gain territory exacerbated tensions between the governments.

When you consider over 50% of marriages end up in divorce and the sex acts lawyers perform during that process, who can afford the risk of having children. The superior courts have created a new practical solution, adopt or marry a young lawyer. Part humor, part not.

Zuma7,

Maybe they’re just trying to take back the American Southwest that they owned before they were attacked by the U.S. in the Mexican-American war, where they lost this land to the United States?

There in at least one caveat in this situation, and that is more great Mexican food, praise Jesus!

Christians, step up to the plate for Christ’s sake!

Our version of God specifically stated: “Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the earth” (Genesis 1:28) We need more little baby Christian soldiers so we can overtake the Islam and Hebrew babies, then it will be Christians taking over California, the United States, and the world!

Therefore, all Christians that use any birth control explicitly disobeys this commandment, which is rooted in God’s purpose for creation in the first place. Duh.

Christians, get humping so we don’t have the Jews or Muslims taking over our beloved Christian nation. Our neighbors to the South have the right idea, so Christians, lets propagate to the same degree that they do and bring up California’s population in the name of Jesus, praise!

Cindy, if you’re still fertile, do your part as a Christian woman. Thank you.

Considering all the liberals and sanctuary cities in California, I’m not surprised that people are leaving and others have stopped coming here. We even have Jihad advertising on buses. But not to worry, Obama has a plan and there will be plenty of babies, anchor babies.

Cindy, on a news channel here in SD (SanDiego) a few weeks back, they reported that in 2011 more middle-class people left the state of California then moved here. But they went on to say, those people are being replaced by people coming to California from Mexico. There is a sanctuary city called Escondido here in SD. If you visit parts of it, you will swear you are in TJ…..Welcome to Mexico-Norte.
