Randy Quaid denied bid to stay in Canada

Canadian immigration officials have denied Randy Quaid’s request for permanent resident status in Canada.

Randy Quaid and his wife Evi Quaid have repeatedly failed to respond to outstanding charges of felony vandalism at their former home in Montecito, Calif., to which they allegedly broke into and caused more than $5,000 worth of damage. The couple instead fled to Canada.

Randy Quaid has battled to stay in Canada, claiming he is being hunted by “Hollywood star-whackers” who he says killed his friends David Carradine and Heath Ledger.

Evi Quaid was awarded Canadian citizenship because her father was Canadian born. Randy Quaid can appeal the decision to deny permanent residency status in Canadian federal court.

Last January, a Santa Barbara County Superior Court judge ruled that the bail bond company that posted a $1 million bail for the Quaids will not be getting its money back. Arrest warrants remain outstanding for the Quaids.

It’s the Quaids who are being hurt, harmed and damaged..they are the victims and heroes in all this!

A few of you have not done your homework, there is plenty of evidence and facts on the internet and youtube that prove the Quaids are innocent.

And ‘Spirit filled’ I would never consider writing a book for you. If you want to make a fool out of yourself thats your stuff but please don’t insult bears and wolves as they do respect the environment. Discussion forums are for the purposes of sharing, learning and growing together. Its about sharing our spirit, heart and soul not satanism. This topic and the Quaids situation is important and deserves our intelligence and integrity.

Now with regards to the immigration issue that was rejected.. When Evi became a Canadian citizen she sponsored her husband Randy and there has been no problems for 2 years then all of a sudden its rejected. Why? Who in the immigration dept. rejected it and why? They obviously did not review the case as its a no brainer the Quaids would have been approved. So it will have to go to the appeal courts in order for it to be reviewed as the Quaids do have a right to be heard and not be dismissed and brushed aside or swept under the carpet and be silenced. I pray the Quaids are safe and that real justice where there is fairness and the Quaids can fully participate.

The weird thing is that lately I’ve seen several movies in which Randy’s acting was really superb. Never really thought much of him as an actor until I saw these kinda off-beat pieces. It’s a shame he cannot find a way to enjoy his life more while doing less damage to others.
