Paso Robles police have charged Herbert Brown III with murdering his two-year-old daughter after doctors in a Bay Area hospital pronounced her dead Tuesday night.

Brown, 29, allegedly assaulted his two-year-old daughter early Monday at their Santa Ysabel Avenue home, leaving her not breathing and with visible head and body injuries, according to the Paso Robles Police Department.

Emergency personnel took the child to Twin Cities Hospital for treatment around 5 a.m. Monday and later transferred her to a Bay Area hospital. Doctors pronounced the two-year-old victim dead around 10 p.m. Tuesday.

The San Luis Obispo County Coroner will conduct an autopsy later this week.

Police initially charged Brown with child abuse, but changed the charge to murder after the child died. Brown also received a charge of assault resulting in the death of a child. Brown has been in San Luis Obispo County Jail since Monday.

I wish this sissy state would follow through with the death penalty much more often.

Justice is blind in California, that’s for sure.

Somehow, we all have to work together to STOP the violence and abuse of our children.

We cannot continue to allow individuals with no morals, ethics, or conscience to be the custodians of children. More often than not, the results are tragic.

Sounds good but just how do you propose to do that?

By ALL of us recognizing the signs of violence and neglect against children.

This is heartbreaking to read. And I don’t know these people or their story, but I can’t help but wonder why the mother of a 2 year old child is 4 hours away? Did this POS of a dad have full custody? And, I use the term “dad” loosely because he’s more of a sperm donor than anything as it turns out…there are alot of people in the country that shouldn’t ever be parents…

No window for forgiveness now, only a lifetime of regret and karma faces him.

The inmates will do in a child molester, but won’t do anything to Brown except leave him to his own irreversible suffering.

I wouldn’t be so sure that inmates don’t seek vengeance on a fellow inmate who has murdered his two-year-old daughter.
