April 15, 2013

handcuffA late night fight in San Luis Obispo has landed one man in the hospital and another in jail.

At about 1:30 a.m. on Monday, Cody Bovee, 28, of San Luis Obispo and Gregory Gonoch, 27, from Arizona got into a heated argument at the AM/PM market at the intersection of Los Osos Valley Road and Calle Joaquin. The two men, who had met Sunday evening, then went outside where they got into a physical altercation

Gonoch allegedly punched Bovee and then kicked him about the head and face.

Police arrived to find Bovee face down and unconscious in the street. Emergency medical personnel transported him to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center where he is being treated for major facial trauma.

Gonoch was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and mayhem and taken to the hospital for hand injuries. He has since been transported to the San Luis Obispo County Jail.

I remember a time when two men would come to fist and cuffs it would be over if one of them was knocked out. These days; the guy still standing feels the need to continue to beat and kick an unconscious man without mercy. I guess they get off on dishing out that kind of punishment. If you ask me it’s an act of cowardice to continue to beat a man that can’t defend himself.

I hope he had insurance so the taxpayers didnt have to pay medical expenses

Havent you heard? We all have medical insurance and yes it is at our expense!

Nothing good happens after midnight.

Huh? Babies are born after midnight. Lives are saved after midnight. There are lots of good things which happen after midnight.
