Child struck by car in Paso Robles

A 12-year-old girl was struck by a car at the intersection of 21st and Spring streets in Paso Robles on Friday afternoon.
The girl was crossing the street when the car struck her. Emergency personnel treated the 12-year-old at the scene for moderate injuries and then transported her to a local hospital.
Police do not believe the driver, who is cooperating with investigators, was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
