Child porn found on garage sale computer

A Chico man was sentenced to eight years in federal prison after child porn was discovered on a computer he gave away for free at a garage sale. [MercuryNews]
Amado Hernandez, 34, gave the computer to a person who then repaired the machine. After discovering child porn on the computer, the new owner contacted authorities.
FBI agents discovered 450 sexually explicit photographs and 250 videos of children. Agents arrested Hernandez in San Diego and discovered more child porn on his laptop.
Hernandez plead guilty to one count of receiving child porn and was sentenced Friday.
