Santa Maria liquor store robber gets away

A man robbed a Santa Maria liquor store Sunday night and evaded capture. [KSBY]
The robber entered El Ranchero Liquor Store on West Main Street around 9:45 p.m. on Sunday. He showed a gun and demanded money and merchandise from the clerk, according to Santa Maria police.
The man ran away with some money and entered the passenger seat of a car waiting nearby. No one suffered injuries during the incident.
No arrests have occurred, and police are still searching for the robber.
