A Paso Robles man is in serious but stable condition in a local hospital after suffering several stab wounds during a fight with his roommate.

Paso Robles police received a report about a fight in the 1000 block of Pioneer Trail in Paso Robles around 8:24 pm Sunday. When officers arrived on the scene, they found the occupants of the home cleaning up a large amount of blood on the floor.

The 21-year-old victim had suffered knife wounds to his abdomen and his hands. He was already on the way to Twin Cities Community Hospital when police arrived. The victim required emergency stomach surgery.

Officers located the stabbing suspect in the 300 block of Via Ramona. They arrested 35-year-old Guillermo Lopez, Jr. for assault with a deadly weapon and booked him in San Luis Obispo County Jail. Police also recovered the knife Lopez used.

I don’t always agree with bobfromsanluis but he is correct in his response to euroamerican here. The fact that he has received so many “thumbs downs” for his response is even worse than all the “thumbs ups” for the original comment. Is the readership of this website degenerating to the point where it produces largely mindless regurgitation of political talking points like those too frequently found following articles from “The Daily Fail” or yahoo.com?

Oh boy, another future model citizen…. sounds like a prime candidate for amnesty.

So in essence you are assuming that the suspect is NOT a US citizen? Do you have any evidence or is his Spanish surname enough for you to make that assumption? Keep it classy …
