March 11, 2014

fireA downed power line on a Paso Robles residential street initiated a house fire and an evacuation of neighboring residences Monday evening.

Paso Robles firefighter responded to a downed power line in the 200 block of Vine Street at 5:57 p.m. Monday. Wind blew the power line into a home at 209 Vine Street causing the fire. Paso Robles officials allowed neighboring residents to return their homes around 7:20 p.m. No injuries occurred during the fire.

A combined total of fourteen firefighters responded to the fire.
