Former SLO County transient escapes from jail

The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors approved a $20,000 reward for information leading to a former San Luis Obispo County transient who escaped from a Los Angeles County jail. [Patch]

On March 12, Christopher Lee Brown, 37, impersonated another inmate to escape from a holding area across the street from the jail after Brown had been sentenced to four years in jail for burglary and identity theft. He was convicted of stealing laptops from a Alhambra health care facility that contained identifying information about 729,000 patients.

In 1997, Brown was convicted for assault with a deadly weapon in the San Luis Obispo County. Ten years later, he was arrested for spousal assault in the Santa Barbara area.

Officials describe Brown as a black man, about 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds.

He escaped during the recent party…..


The warden threw a party in the county jail.

The prison band was there and they began to wail.

How does one escape from county jail? All the people that work out there and all the $$$$$$$$ they are getting paid??….how does one escape? Are these employees at the county part of the secret service? Perhaps they were passed out on the job? I mean really???~~~~Just sayin~~~
