Grover Beach bank robbed

bank robbery gbGrover Beach police are investigating the Tuesday robbery of a Rabobank on Grand Avenue.

At about 10:40 a.m., a robber entered the bank, displayed a semi-automatic pistol and demanded cash. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the man fled the scene.

Officials describe the suspect as a Hispanic or Filipino male with a salt-and-pepper mustache or goatee.

Police are asked anyone with information about the robbery to call the Grover Beach Police Department at (805) 473-4511

That’s my bank. Those tellers are nice people. Another Rabo was robbed a few years ago, I recall tailgating to them about it. Glad no one was hurt.
