Woman murdered in Templeton

San Luis Obispo County sheriff’s detectives are investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred Wednesday night in Templeton.
Deputies responded to a call in the 400 block of Eric Lane in Templeton around 10:20 p.m. Wednesday. When they arrived, the deputies found a female with stab wounds.
Responders transported the victim to a local hospital where she later died.
Deputies detained a male at the scene of the crime, but the sheriff’s office has not yet released any information about possible suspects. A homicide investigation is ongoing.
