San Luis Obispo police are searching for a man who allegedly stabbed another man Sunday evening at De Vaul Park on Madonna Road.

Shortly before 11 p.m., police discovered a man suffering from a stab wound at a picnic table in the park. Prior to the stabling, the victim and the suspect were engaged in an argument that led to the physical altercation.

The suspect, Geffery Stephenson, 19, fled the scene and headed south towards Los Osos. Police said Stephenson is homeless and might have a campsite on Gary Grossman’s property near the Post Office.

Emergency personnel transported the victim, who was suffering from a stab wound to the torso that punctured a lung, to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center where he is listed in stable condition.

This guy is a great example of a homeless person in SLO who needs a bus ticket back to his home. Nothing good comes from a bunch of young adults, hanging around, doing nothing but drugs.

So what you are saying is, you want all of the born in SLO young drug using homeless to come home and hang in the park?

Good luck with that NIMBY on your shoulder.

Ginger kids.

Sunday in the park

I think it was the third of August

Saturday in the park

I think it was the third of august

People dancing, people laughing

A man stabbing another man

Singing homeless songs

Can you dig it (yes, I can)

And I’ve been waiting such a long time

For Sunday

Sunday night in the park

You’d think it was the Fourth of July

Sunday night in the park

You’d think it was the Fourth of July

People talking, some stabbing

A man playing guitar

Singing for us all

Will you help him change the world

Can you dig it (yes, I can)

And I’ve been waiting such a long time

Funny nights in the park

Every day’s the Fourth of July

Funny nights in the park

Every day’s the Fourth of July

People reaching, people touching

A real celebration

Waiting for us all

If we want it, really want it

Can you dig it (yes, I can)

And I’ve been waiting such a long time

For the day

Another reason to always be strapped.

Better yet, another reason to learn to defend yourself without a weapon; you can defend yourself anywhere (federal building, court house, airport, all the places carrying a firearm is prohibited), and you won’t have to worry about shooting any bystanders, not to mention the confidence you get from knowing how to handle most any situation.
