The California Highway Patrol received a report of the incident at 6:50 a.m. The vehicle and animal collided in the southbound lane of the highway between Santa Barbara and San Diego roads.

Talk about a bum steer !

“It is also unclear why the animal wandered onto the freeway.”

Simple: to get to the other side.

After reading the headline, I was expecting to read that a cow fell off a truck and landed on someones hood or something. Either way, poor cow.

A bad dent in the car and my dad had a cow too.

She was on her way to the moovies when she decided to cross the freeway. She should have worn a bell if her horns didn’t work. I cowculate the vehicle was traveling at 55 mph. With an impact like that I thought there would be holstains everywhere but her moo-moos absorbed everything? What an udder-catastrophe. I’m just glad she wasn’t decalfenated. Sorry, I was bored this morning.

Witnesses say that the cow had just passed a Prius when he suddenly swerved into oncoming traffic. He could have used his horn, if he had one….

Yeah, well, it gets even worse than that. Turns out the cow was out there on the highway on a suspended license and had no proof of insurance.

I’ve been screaming about these out-of-control cows for years, but nobody ever does anything about it. When will Jerry Brown or the deadbeats in the legislature in Sacramento finally get off their butts and get us some protection against these habitual violators? Heaven knows, we can’t depend on the SLO Board of Sups to ever do it!

Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year, y’all!

Cow hits car? Really? How fast was she going?

Cow was in Atascadero, so was probably high on meth.

Why was it in your stash?
