A Cal Poly custodial staffer who works at university housing was arrested on-campus this week and charged with sexual assault. [KSBY]

Grover Beach resident Mark Calixterio, 33, faces charges of sexual assault, domestic violence, false imprisonment and assault with intent to commit sexual assault. He was arrested after arriving for work on Tuesday.

Calixterio’s victim was not a student, according to Cal Poly. Further details about the alleged crimes are currently unclear.

The university says it was notified about the allegations on Monday. University officials say Cal Poly conducted a thorough investigation, which led to Calixterio’s arrest.

Calixterio was booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail with bail set at $200,000. The county sheriff’s office website does not list him as still being in custody.

Officials have ordered Calixterio to stay away from campus as his criminal case proceeds.

This guy’s bail was set at $200,000. The illegal immigrant, currently missing, who broke a two year old’s legs and arm, previously deported, previously arrested in a meth trafficking ring with drug cartel ties, and who was obviously a flight risk, had bail set at $100,000 and probably used drug money to make bail.

So, who was the judge who set the illegal’s bail so low, who knew that he was a likely drug dealer and confirmed deportee, and went against all common sense, allowing him to flee the county and probably the country.

The public deserves to know; yet this information is being kept from the public. Why? Judges need to be held responsible for their mistakes just like anyone else.

If the victim turns out to be a hooker, then anyone can be arrested after a thorough investigation. A hooker is 3X more smarter than a judge. Wait for more info!

It’s all hush-hush when it happens at Cal Poly.

Who is setting these bail amounts that make it so easy for these criminals to get out of jail so fast. $20 thousand and he walked! Look at what happened to the illegal who has disappeared after breaking limbs and beating the baby. Who has that kind of money just laying around within an hours unless it is credit cards and they can kiss that goodbye and guess what, we end up paying for that too! Our system sucks!

I believe the bail was actually….$200,000.00

Bail bonds are typically ten percent of the bail amount.

Yes, bail was listed as $200,000 but he pays 20% of that to get out = $20,000. Seems cheap IMO! Sexual assault and false imprisonment seems like a really big thing to me as none of us would think different if it had impacted our spouses, daughters, etc. This is just another scum bag. As for the DUI Police officer, he was wrong for what he did, but it is standard practice to test, cite and release if the person (any person) has a ride home. It is my understanding that he went to the hospital, gave the blood and was released to a sober person. No special treatment was given to him!

Sorry, I meant to say… “…pays 10% of that to get out…”

The article says $200k bail. That’s a pretty good chunk of change.

If this guy is guilty he should get a long and painful jail sentence. Due process is still a good thing, particularly for the innocent.

Bail bonds are typically ten percent of the bail amount.

Where’s your outrage about the SLO cop arrested for DUI, and cited and released with no bail? He could have killed somebody DUI. Ah, yes, the immigrant thing is what seems to get your blood pressure up. Unless you’re native American, you don’t have a leg to stand on in that argument.

Sorry, but felony sexual assault and false imprisonment are far more severe charges than simple DUI. Seems to me, the important thing to you is making silly partisan equivocations. How is this person even an illegal immigrant? Do you know this? How?

Guilty until proven innocent? Got your law degree in Mexico?
