San Luis Obispo County Sheriff deputies arrested a man Thursday who allegedly stabbed a woman in the back in Cayucos.

Shortly before 3:30 p.m., Matthew Sebastian Agrey, 43, allegedly attacked a 49-year-old woman at a home on the 70 block of 4th Street. When deputies arrived, the victim said that after Agrey stabbed her, he fled on foot.

Emergency personnel then transported the victim to a nearby hospital where she was treated for her injuries, according to a press release.

Approximately 45 minutes later, deputies located Agrey not far from where the incident occurred. Deputies arrested Agrey and booked him into the San Luis Obispo County Jail on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon in lieu of $100,000 bail.

Just like the baseball–knife roommate arrest, we see that guns are not the focal point of violent acts. People will attack and kill with whatever weapon is close at hand when they have that mindset. We don’t want to think that the world has gone mad—it would be too much to digest with all the craziness in the world right now. But perhaps that is a theory that should be explored further…..

the guy who wrote this book died in United States federal penitentiary 1957 for distributing books.

Well there’s a comment I can get behind.
