Paso Robles man killed in crash

A Paso Robles man was killed Sunday evening after he drove into a tree off Airport Road near Highway 46, according to a Paso Robles press release.
Shortly before 9 p.m., the vehicle 51-year-old Mark Steven Portney was driving veered off Airport Road and into an oak tree. Portney was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Paso Robles police investigators do not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident.
The San Luis Obispo County Coroners office and police investigators are attempting to determine what factors led to the fatal crash.
