22nd Annual SLO County Earth Day 'Get Down to Earth'
Get Down to Earth on Sunday, April 22nd, from 10 am to 5 pm in the natural spacious outdoor setting of El Chorro Regional Park. The Earth Day Alliance is partnering with San Luis Obispo County Parks and the San Luis Obispo Botanical Gardens for the 22nd annual SLO County Earth Day. Returning as a major sponsor, Rapid Transit Authority (RTA) will coordinate free bus rides from every corner of the county, to the park and back all day long
A search for Earth Day partners and sponsors is underway; final signup is March 1. Individuals, families, schools, students, businesses, nonprofit groups, government agencies, and food and beverage providers are invited to share their message and products as an Earth Day exhibitor. Non-selling individuals, families, schools, and students can exhibit for free. All others have a designated fee. Application are available and will be accepted through March 30. Early registrations will receive top priority on site locations. Applications received on April 1 or later will be charged a late fee.
EDA is also looking for musicians, dancers, storytellers and actors to share their talents.
