Open House at the Mosque of Nasreen, San Luis Obispo

The Mosque of Nasreen and the Islamic Society of San Luis Obispo County are organizing an Open House at the Mosque of Nasreen (1136 Walnut Street, SLO 93401) on Saturday, May 19^th, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Islam 101 presentations will be held in the main prayer hall at 12:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Question and Answer sessions will follow each presentation. Refreshments and Islamic literature will also be available. The Open House is intended to expose people of different faiths to the Islamic place of worship, while providing others with an opportunity to learn about the teachings and practices of Islam.

We welcome people of all faiths and walks of life to join us at the Open House for a tour of the Mosque, and a chance to meet local Muslim community members while learning more about Islam.
