FUTURIST JOHN PETERSEN TO SPEAK AT JUNE WISDOM SERIES EVENT

Global Alliance for Balance and Healing will continue its special five-part series, The Wisdom Series on Thursday, June 21st at Mondo Cellars in Paso Robles. The theme of the evening is "2012 and the Future,” and the event will feature futurist and author John Petersen as its keynote speaker. Intuitive artist Deborah DeLisi will open the evening with a talk entitled “Ancient Sounds For the Future.”

Petersen is best known for writing about and speaking on high impact global surprises. His current book, A Vision for 2012: Planning for the Future, presents approaches for preparing for the future from the perspective of an individual, organization or government. He was a featured contributor on the recent, widely-broadcasted television special NOSTRADAMUS 2012, and currently edits and publishes the nationally acclaimed newsletter FUTUREdition for The Arlington Institute, a future-oriented, nonprofit research institute which he founded in 1989. Petersen speaks widely on a variety of future-related subjects and is considered by many to be the most informed in his field.

The Wisdom Series runs every third Thursday of the month through September at Mondo Cellars from 6:00-9:30 p.m. Each month the series features a universal theme to humanity, with expert speakers sharing their wisdom and new outlooks on each theme. Guests can move throughout the winery property, enjoying local and professional speakers, local vendors, local and organic food and Mondo Cellars wine.

The Wisdom Series benefits Global Alliance for Balance and Healing, a Santa Margarita-based public education charity. Tickets to the event are $30 or $45 with food, and can be pre-purchased on-line at www.thewisdomseries.org. Pre-purchase is highly recommended as tickets do sell quickly.
