Myths About Grief Presentation
FREE Seminar at Grace Bible Church Saturday January 18, 10-11:30 am
UNRESOLVED grief can lead to a host of difficult life problems including anxiety, depression, drug or alcohol abuse, and conflict in relationships. Although grief is the normal and natural reaction to significant emotional loss of any kind, most of the information passed on within our society about dealing with grief is not normal, natural, or helpful. The phrases “Let Go” and “Move On” leave the person thinking “I would if I only knew how!”
Begin the new year with hope for the future by learning to distinguish between grief myths and grief truths at the free seminar, “Myths About Grief,” part of Grace Bible Church’s Living with Loss program. Guest speaker Debbra Bronstad, LMFT, is a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist who understands unresolved grief and how to untangle from its effects.
All who are suffering from loss due to death, divorce, and other life losses are invited to join Debbra and the Living with Loss staff at Grace Bible Church, 100 Rodeo Drive in Arroyo Grande, Saturday, January 18 from 10 to 11:30 am in the Community Room. Register by calling Andrea or Pastor Bruce at Grace Bible Church office, 805 489-4200 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
