Pirates Paradise, event photos

October 19, 2010

I hope you didn’t miss out on the party of the year that happened last Friday night at the Avila Beach Golf Resort.

The San Luis Obispo Children’s Museum’s yearly fundraiser was hopping with great music, a real six foot alligator, a palm reader and costumed partiers armed with swords and guns.

Alan Stephenson created a pirates’ lair complete with treasures, jewels, torches, skeletons and real parrots.

Find local events as well as movie show times at CalCoastNews’ Event Calendar.

This was the best fundraiser I have EVER been to. Kudos to the children’s museum staff. It was fun and, from the sound of the auction, raised lots of money for you guys.I can’t wait to hear what next year’s theme is going to be!
