Paso Robles robbery

Days following a pair of armed robberies at Atascadero and Paso Robles gas stations, a man with a gun robbed a San Miguel Chevron station. As with the last robbery, authorities describe the suspect as a man who is 6 feet tall and weighs 180 to 200 pounds.

In each of the three cases, the robber or robbers managed to evade capture. Two robbers entered the Atascadero gas station, while a lone gunman robbed both the Paso Robles and San Miguel stations.

Around 6 a.m. Sunday, San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Chevron station at 998 K Street in San Miguel. Witnesses said a man entered the station, revealed a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded money.

The robber obtained an undisclosed amount of money and ran out of the store, according to the sheriff’s office. No one suffered injuries during the robbery.

Sheriff’s officials describe the suspect as a white man about 25 to 30 years old. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a black ball cap and black pants. His face was covered by a black bandana with either white stars or white X’s on it.

In addition to searching for the suspect, sheriff’s detectives are looking for two witnesses, a male and a female, who were inside the station during the robbery. Detectives are requesting that those witnesses call the sheriff’s office at 805-781-4550.

The Atascadero robbery occurred on the night of Oct. 28 at a Chevron station on Morro Road. The Paso Robles robbery took place early in the morning on Oct. 31 at the Mobile station on Golden Hill Road.

Just another armed robbery. It used to shock people but we have become indoctrinated to worse crimes rather quickly in SLO County.

Oops, Posted on wrong story

Adding insult to injury, some patients had metal-to-metal hip replacements that were known by the manufactureres (DePuy ASR or Pinnacle) to have design flaws which lead to severe, sometimes life altering & life-threatening injuries and another painful replacement.

All the aforementioned was never passed on by the mfg to doctors, allegedly to sell more product.

The company has set aside $4 billion to settle claims. More than 8,000 Pinnacle lawsuits remain active before judge James Kinked, in Texas.

Attorneys are using a ‘bellwether trial process’ in each highly populated state to ascertain causation & liability issues, common to claimants across the nation in our most populated states, using 5 or 6 class action claimants. The results will help shape the process, to address the remaining 8,00 or so claimants.

The ongoing ( 6months or so, 3 more to go) trial in Texas includes some from California, even SLO County (Los Osos).
