Body found in Oceano surf

A body was found in the surf at Oceano Dunes State Park shortly before 7 a.m. on Tuesday.
Ven Hsao Hsiao’s family reported that he went missing while fishing in Guadalupe. Hsiao was the owner of the Combo Express restaurant in the Santa Maria Town Center. [Tribune]
Officials believe the body is the same one that was spotted by a fisherman in the ocean near Guadalupe Beach on Saturday.
