Man dead after fight in Nipomo

A young man died after being involved in a street fight at Hazel Lane and Starlite Drive in Nipomo on Thanksgiving at about 8:30 p.m.

San Luis Obispo County Sheriff deputies responded to a report of a fight and found the unconscious young man. Deputies performed CPR before having the man transported to Marian Medical Center in Santa Maria where he was declared dead.

Detectives and coroner deputies are continuing to investigate the incident. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

Yep, that’s quite the neighborhood isn’t it? Same neighborhood where the murderers of Destiny Myers came from, IIRC.


btw….has the name of the deceased been released? I still haven’t seen it mentioned in any report I have been able to find.

Yeah uh Iceman, these are the citizens, who are they gonna take the town back from? If you’re thinking about the people who moved there from out of town, they live in the gated communities and really don’t care.

These are bad times but no mention that it was a crime.

Whatever the story behind it, Its sad that it happened.

What’s happening in Nipomo? Murder’s, home invasion’s, out of control gang activity. REALLY starting to resemble Santa Maria and Lompoc. The Sheriff Dept. and citizen’s best unite to take back your town while you still can. It’s not even safe to walk your dog any more.
