Homeless man stabbed in San Luis Obispo

A homeless man was stabbed multiple times in the torso on Sunday at about 4:19 p.m. at a San Luis Obispo homeless encampment.

Police and paramedics responding to an emergency call at the camp located in the area of Tank Farm Road near the Southern Pacific Railroad Tracks found Donald Bruce, 55, suffering from stab wounds. Bruce identified his attacker as 60-year-old David Allen Purdy.

Police found Purdy at a nearby encampment. He was booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail for attempted murder with bail set at $500,000.

Bruce was treated and released from a local hospital.

Another one! This is where the city of SLO wants to send all the homeless men and woman that are sheltered, nourished and protected at Dan Devauls place. That judge and his cronies should rot in hell.
