Sheriff’s deputies confronted Soto in the parking lot as he approached his vehicle. During a search of Soto’s car, deputies discovering paraphernalia related to illegal drug use, black tar heroin and reported stolen property.

Soto was charged with possession of illegal drugs, possession of stolen property and possession of burglary tools. He remains in San Luis Obispo County Jail with bail set at $25,000.

Gambel, the passenger in Soto’s car, was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit a crime and possession of burglary tools. She posted $2,000 bail and was released.

The arrest, made in Paso Robles, was made by LA County Sheriffs.

Must have been during one of Police Chief Lisa Solomon’s asinine “safe-mode” declarations for her officers, when they are limited to…what….washing the police cars?

Perhaps the local businesses don’t even bother calling the PRPD anymore for help.

I hope you meant to say “SLO County Sheriff’s”. LA County had nothing to do with the arrest. I was there and saw the SLO Sheriff cars and CHP
