Hill claims red ink stains his coffers

Adam Hill

By DANIEL BLACKBURN

Adam Hill’s reelection campaign put him in debt, according to the county supervisor, but it really didn’t. Nevertheless, he’s appealing to supporters — and to more than a few folks who opposed him — for money in a letter addressed to “Dear Community Leaders.”

Hill’s letter claims his victorious effort caused him to end with an alleged fiscal deficit he blames on media buys, but recent state campaign disclosure statements show that after Hill paid off loans he made to his campaign, he actually owns an ending cash balance of $9,756.21.

On June 4, one day before the election, Cencal Pacific Properties LLC of San Luis Obispo gave Hill $6,000. Cencal Pacific owns various county properties, including the property in Arroyo Grande vacated by Spencer’s Market in July.

In Hill’s post-election plea, the supervisor said he was “humbly” asking for financial help to offset the cost of what he called “ugliness” during the campaign.

You would think that with the controversy that has been going on around him that he would just lay low and hope that things might smooth out, but I guess he doesn’t understand that notion, too bad the voters elected him again.

I guess Adam has been feeding too long at the public troughs. Pay your own way!!! The public owes you nothing.

I did not vote for Adam Hill and I am obviously justified in that decision. What a selfish self centered individual. Can we trust our local affairs in such an individual?

Here we go again with Mr. Adam (it’s not my fault, it’s everyone else’s) Hill. You must have been fun to watch growing up. Gee mom it’s not my fault it’s that darn neighbor kid. Does this guy take responsibility for ANYTHING!!????

Get a grip adam, time to cowboy up and grow a pair…

You want to run with the big dogs get off the porch…

The ugliness he speaks of is in his own backyard…

I’ll send money if he’ll resign. That would be money well spent, and an investment in the future of SLO County.

Hill needs money because he is about to lose his ass-ets to CCN. He also needs an attorney and doesn’t want to pay the pipe to defend his own inequities in the upcoming slaughter. . I’m going to send a contribution to CCN, they are of value to the public. As for Hill, I already know how to ‘literally’ say FU to people and I can’t think of much else that he stands out for.

Now I’ve heard it all!

I agree.

Just about the time I think Adam Hill cannot possibly top his latest nincompoopery, he goes and proves me wrong.

Looks like old Adam is pulling what most politicians are doing now. Claiming they are broke when in reality they have a ton of money hidden. Shame on this tool, his antics are getting old. Government has a spending problem not a revenue problem. vote NO on all tax increases.

YES…….. to a NO on all new taxes, plus the incumbants running again. Time to get rid of all the free loaders.
