SLO County firefighters battled three small fires

Firefighters in San Luis Obispo County were busy Sunday battling several small fires. [KSBY]
In the 3900 block of Upper Lopez Canyon Drive in Arroyo Grande, a fire slowly burned three acres before firefighter were able to contain the blaze. Officials say it was started by a downed power line.
At about 3 p.m., a fire broke out in Nipomo off Riverside Road. Firefighters quickly put out the blaze that broke out near several homes.
The fire burned just under an acre of land. The cause is still under investigation.
In Shandon, an illegal burn resulted in a small fire in the river bed, and a ticket was issued.
