FBI seeking California’s ‘Bad Beard Bandit’

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is searching for a man who has robbed five Northern California banks in the last month while wearing a fake beard.

bad-beard-banditThe “Bad Beard Bandit” is believed to have robbed banks in Ripon, Manteca, Tracy, Dublin and Sunnyvale since Nov. 21. He is known to wear large, black beards that are distinctly fake.

Investigators describe the suspect as a stocky white or Hispanic man in his late 20s or early 30s. He often wears blue jeans, ball caps, hoodies and jackets.

The “Bad Beard Bandit” is believed to be armed and dangerous, though no weapons have been seen in his robberies.

Between Dec. 31, 2012 and Aug. 14, the Central Coast Bandit successfully robbed six banks, four of which were located in San Luis Obispo County. Police arrested her in Paso Robles on Aug. 24.

Really? How about we consider a bank guard armed and dangerous and let this guy know it first-hand?
