Police investigating suspicious death

San Luis Obispo police are investigating the recent death of a man at the Silver City Mobile Home Park on South Higuera Street.
Early Friday morning, the man’s neighbors called police to report they hadn’t seen him for two days and that he was not answering his door, police said. After spotting the man lying on the floor, officers forced their way into the residence.
Officers than discovered suspicious items in the home and began an investigation into the death.
Police are not identifying the man, said to be in his 60s, until his next of kin is notified of his death. They are asking anyone with information on the death to call the San Luis Obispo Police Department or Crime Stoppers.
