Def Leppard to perform at Chumash Casino in October

Venerable eighties hard rock icons Def Leppard will make a rare Central Coast appearance on Oct. 30 at the Chumash Casino Resort in Santa Ynez, Cal Coast News has learned.
The British quintet will play one show in the intimate 1,400-seat Samala Showroom in a pre-Halloween performance. Currently wrapping up a co-headlining, summer arena tour with KISS, the band is playing a series of smaller venue shows in California this fall.
While the band is still awaiting Rock Hall of Fame status, Def Leppard has sold over 100 million records worldwide and has toured stadiums around the globe since their first record in 1980. While they have experienced some personnel change over the years like most bands, the core group of musicians (vocalist Joe Elliott, guitarist Phil Collen, bassist RIck Savage and drummer Rick Allen) remains intact.
Concert tickets will go on sale soon at www.chumashcasino.com. They start at $95 but the chance to see these popular arena rockers in a theater setting is priceless, especially here on the Central Coast.
