Alleged sexual assault near SLO

The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s office received a report Monday afternoon that a sexual assault occurred near San Luis Obispo.
A mandatory reporter said the sexual assault occurred on a property in the 1400 block of O’Connor Way, according to a San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office news release. The location of the alleged assault is in rural San Luis Obispo near the jail.
Detectives responded to the scene and are working with forensic specialists to process evidence. The sheriff’s news release states that there is no description of a suspect or vehicle, nor any further information.

In the past five months, local law enforcement has received reports of three sexual assaults alleged to have occurred at Cal Poly fraternity houses. One of the alleged assaults reportedly occurred at house on Foothill Boulevard near O’Connor Way.
