A second Wesleyan University in Connecticut student from Atascadero was arrested for his role in the molly overdoses which led to 11 students being hospitalized last month. [Gothamist]

Abhimanyu Janamanchi, 21, turned himself in on Friday in connection to the drug overdoses which occurred between Feb. 21 and 22. Unlike the previous four students arrested in connection with the bad batch of drugs, Janamanchi was one of the 11 people hospitalized

Prosecutors have charged Janamanchi with two counts of distribution of a hallucinogen, two counts possession of a hallucinogen, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell. During a search of Janamanchi room and belongings, police found capsules, four different powdery substances and a synthetic cannibinoid that is smoked for a psychoactive effect.

Also from Atascadero, Andrew Olson was arraigned in court on Tuesday on charges of two counts of selling a hallucinogen, two counts of possession of a hallucinogen, possession of less than a half-ounce of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Way to represent the central coast. Make us proud boys!

is this guy still on whatever he was selling or did he just blink?

Demonology 101.

I’m curious as to his citizenship status…does any one know?

Would you ask that if he was caucasian? Does it matter? The rest were a typical mix of students you would find at a major university… three Americans, one Syrian, and a Brasilia.

The guy is caucasian, and to be perfectly correct (if that is ever possible in the politically correct world), then you would have to say three people from the United States, one from Syria and one from Brazil (Brasilia is the capital of Brazil). The Brazilian is technically also an American since he is from South American.

However, the main point is that no one except CCN has him listed as coming from Atascadero, so I think CCN needs to recheck that information.

I don’t think this guy is a citizen of Atascadero. Other sources say he is from Rockville, Maryland. He has an Indian (India) last name, so I’m assuming he is a citizen or here as a legal resident.
