Small quake shakes North County

A 3.1 magnitude earthquake with an epicenter near San Simeon shook areas of Northern San Luis Obispo County and Southern Montery County early Monday morning.Shaking began at 1:48 a.m. The quake’s epicenter was approximately 9 miles north of San Simeon, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The epicenter was 21 miles northwest of Paso Robles. Some shaking occurred in the city of Paso Robles.
Weak shaking also occurred around Northern Cambria.
