Oversized marijuana truck hits Cal Poly overpass

May 5, 2016

legalize-marijuana-california-environmentA truck filled with marijuana crashed into the railroad overpass on the Cal Poly campus on Monday evening. The driver then fled without the top of his truck, which had been severed in the accident.

Shortly afterwards, officers found the truck and identified the driver, but they did not arrest the man, according to university officials. The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office is not disclosing whether the driver was transporting medical marijuana, citing an ongoing investigation.

Around 5 p.m., university police received a report that a truck had hit the overpass on Highland Drive and fled the scene. University police then informed local law enforcement to be on the lookout for the truck.

About an hour later, CHP officers located the truck on Highway 101 at El Campo Road near Arroyo Grande. Sheriff’s narcotics detectives then determined the truck was carrying marijuana.

Authorities impounded the truck and identified the driver as 20-year-old San Jose resident James Mendaros.

University police submitted a recommended charge of hit-and-run to the county district attorney’s office. The sheriff’s office is considering filing additional charges.

There is something missing in this story, was the truck leaving campus full of pot and if so, why?

They just dropped a giant load of product off at the Admin building.

Pendejo!

What a dope.

Don’t ask me to reveal my sources, but rumor has it that this driver was immediately hired by SLO Transit to drive that double-decker bus thang.

Apparently, the truck was too high.

OK, that was the best one I’ve read, and there are a LOT of good ones!

Thank you. Thank you very much. :)

So we can assume that after this stories post, there is a lot of Yahweh god’s creation that are re-tracking this trucks route to AG in the hopes of finding clumps of Mary Jane! Notwithstanding, many Cal Poly students will be nonexistent in classes for some time to come as they are recuperating from finding such a great bounty.

Mendaros must have been sampling the merchandise before he hit the overpass.

The Nice Dreams truck was seen in this video on California St. just before it crashed…..
