San Luis Obispo County 0n Friday reported 257 new cases of COVID-19 over the past three days, with a steady daily case average of 63 and no new deaths.

“We continue to see too many of our neighbors suffering from severe illness, even requiring intensive care, as the Delta variant circulates widely in SLO County,” said Dr. Penny Borenstein, county health officer. “If you have been waiting for the right moment to get your vaccine, now is the time to protect yourself and your family.”

During the past three days, 257 SLO County residents tested positive for the coronavirus. Paso Robles leads with 64 new cases, followed by Atascadero with 33, Nipomo with 29 and Arroyo Grande with 28.

Norway and Singapore have decided to open up, 100% without restrictions, without masks, without vacc. mandates without social distancing. It’s “damn the torpedoes” for them and I applaud it.

Norway is 88.4% vaccinated as of August 26th and Singapore is 85% as of September 29th. Want out of this, we need to get vaxxed.

Everyone is vaccinated in Norway and Singapore.

Also, and probably more importantly: There is not the obesity and low Vitamin D levels you see in the USA. Overall health plays a huge factor in who gets and suffers from Covid. Loose weight and get outdoors exercise.

Absolutely! Excellent points that are overlooked. Diet, outdoor exercise, deep breathing, quitting all types of smoking, now is the time to improve health.

We will likely catch Covid sooner or later. The question is, will we have been vaccinated allowing us to build up an immune response in advance? Will there be a Merck pill to take if necessary to lessen the illness? Will our bodies be prepared? These are life saving questions.

So 368,984 deaths from covid in 8 months since January 2021 with a vaccine. There were 350,000 deaths the first 10 months of covid without a vaccine.

1) early in the infection, our medical systems were not prepared. 2) Covid has now spread more widely. 3) Delta variant is more dangerous. 4) MOST IMPORTANTLY not everyone has been vaccinated in the past 8 months. Because there are people who won’t get vaxxed does not mean the vaccine is ineffective. Don’t blame the DEATHS of the stupidly unvaccinated on the vaccine.

Your post s an excellent example of a false inference and poor logic.

So in the first 10 months, people faced this disease without a vaccine and died. In the last 8 months, people made the mistake of not getting vaccinated and died. Is that your point?

Just trying to make sense of the numbers I’m reading about. Don’t mean to get the covid experts diapers in a bunch.

The people wearing diapers are the unvaccinated snowflakes afraid of a tiny needle. Completely irrational.

20% of the covid deaths in 2021 came from 2 states. Florida and Texas with almost half of those coming since the end of June. Florida has had more deaths in last 3 months than New York has had in 2021. All facts you can look up and I encourage it.
