Bicyclist airlifted to hospital after falling on rural San Luis Obispo trail

A helicopter airlifted a bicyclist to a hospital after the rider fell on a trail near San Luis Obispo on Friday.
Shortly after 5:30 p.m., firefighters responded to a report of a bicyclist down on the Eucalyptus Trail near the 3000 block of Stenner Creek Road. Firefighters used an off-road vehicle to make access to the bicyclist, according to Cal Fire.
A CHP helicopter then airlifted the individual to the hospital with unreported injuries.
