Search is on for missing Nipomo woman

A 70-year-old Nipomo woman, believed to have dementia symptons, is missing.

The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Department is searching for Martha Henderson, who has not returned home after leaving her Redberry Place home Friday morning. She was believed to be headed for either the Vons in Nipomo or the Santa Maria Mall.

Henderson is driving a dark green Ford Explorer with a California license plate number 5BIJ701. She has blonde hair and was wearing a silver and white western shirt with denim capri pants.

Anyone will information regarding Martha Henderson, or her vehicle, is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Department at 781-4553.

Oh no, I believe this is the 5th or 6th case of an elderly person suffering from dementia has gone missing in this county in the last few years. The way they manage to disappear is as bizarre as the disease itself since we never found the 5 that I am referring to. One thing for certain is that they sure are good at hiding from everyone. I hope no harm has come to this lady.
