Suspect wanted in San Luis Obispo stabbing

UPDATE: Following up on a tip, San Luis Obispo police arrested suspect Jesus Gitierrez at Laguna Lake on Tuesday afternoon. He was booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail on an assault with a deadly weapon charge with a parole hold.

ORIGINAL: Police are looking for a San Luis Obispo man suspected of stabbing another man in the lower back at a trailer park at 333 Elks Lane on Monday at about 6:45 p.m.

During an argument, Jesus Gutierrez, 41, allegedly stabbed Jonathan Blackwell in the lower back. Blackwell, 41, told police after he fell to the ground, Gutierrez kicked him several times in the face.

Paramedics transported Blackwell to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center.

Before police arrived, Gutierrez was seen leaving the area in a green Honda sedan with an unidentified female.

I’m glad he was caught… how about the unidentified female he was with in the green Honda sedan? Possible witness or accomplice.
