Man found dead in Morro Bay parking lot identified

The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office has identified the man found dead in a Morro Bay parking lot as 82-year-old Richard Engh.
Morro Bay police found Engh dead inside a white car Saturday afternoon in the Rite Aid parking lot. Police said Engh, a Morro Bay resident, appeared to have died of natural causes.
Officers at the scene said they have rousted the deceased in the past after discovering him sleeping in his vehicle.
The sheriff’s office will conduct an autopsy Wednesday, but it does not suspect any foul play.
