Templeton man arrested for murder

A 58-year-old Templeton man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing a woman during a domestic dispute Wednesday evening. The woman was transported to a local hospital where she died from her injuries.
Deputies responded to a 911 call from 483 Eric Lane in Templeton and found the victim, a 5-year-old child and Philip Thomas Hanes at the home.
Deputies arrested Hanes for murder and booked him into the San Luis Obispo County Jail. Officials placed the child with Child Welfare Services.
The victim is not being identified pending notification of next of kin.
