Bell Gardens Mayor Daniel Crespo, 45, was arguing with his wife, Levette, in their home Tuesday afternoon when their 19-year-old son intervened. As Crespo was arguing with his son, his wife grabbed a gun and shot him inside the home around 2:30 p.m.
Crespo died en route to the hospital.
