Lenny Jones

Lenny Jones, Arroyo Grande’s 2014 Citizen of the Year, plead no contest last week to multiple counts of child molestation. He faces a minimum of 14 years, eight month in prison.

In March 2014, Jones was accused of kidnapping, penetrating with a foreign object and molesting two girls under 14 years of age and one girl under 10 years of age. The alleged molestations took place while the three girls were attending a birthday party at Jones’ home.

After investigators discovered explicit pictures of a 3-year-old boy on Jones’ computer, prosecutors added three additional charges; explicit photos of a child, exploitation of a minor and molesting a child.

Jones originally plead not guilty to all of the charges. Last week, he plead no contest to multiple charges related to child molestation.

On May 3, Jones is scheduled to be sentenced to at least 14 years and 8 months in prison.

That’s pretty light for that sordid, life-scarring laundry list. But hell, we all know aside from that Lenny’s a good guy, not like a Mexican farm-worker or anything.

God love you Ted. No amount of torture or punishment will satisfy the masses. The crime is indeed heinous and disturbing and deserves consequences, but only God can judge this one fairly. Humans are too emotional and mean spirited to have the capacity to forgive and to dispense punishment fairly. I am thankful that I don’t have the unfortunate task of deciding such things

Idiot DA Dan Down once again plea bargained the sentence for this vermin. The 4 victims were ages 3 to 12 years old, boys and girls. Not only was he caught in the act, they found pictures on his computer. This is his second conviction, yet he was only given 14 years 8 months. With good behavior it goes to 7 &1/2 years. I’m sure Mr citizen of the year will be a church mouse, a pillar of the prison community. Has Dan Dow EVER done his job? Overwhelming charges including kidnapping and Dow thinks he deserves a third chance? And when this pig Lenny Jones is released, He should be made to live at Dan Downs house. Dan Dow needs to go. Lazy, government sloth! Another example of a government official getting rich for showing up. Idiot!

And idiot YOU has no clue. Justice is not served by going to trial EVERY time! Do you not care about the trauma the children and their families would go through if required to testify? How do you know that there would have been a conviction on all counts if it had gone to trial? What if this was done because of reluctant witnesses?

Perspicacious, your village has been looking for you. Justice is not served by going to trial every time? How about NEVER going to trial? Dan Downer is the reason so many vile criminals are re-released to rape children again. He is soft on crime across the board. The children have already been molested, raped and interrogated. Would they feel safer knowing that by telling a judge what happened, it would keep him locked up for life? You think they won’t be traumatized when he is released in a few years? This is a ongoing pattern of ineptness from Dow rubber stamping habitual criminals. The evidence was overwhelming and this vermin should never be released. This was not his first offense against children. He already had a second chance, how’d that work out? Dow is inept. Catch and release is for fishing, not habitual criminals. So, you think a light sentence for raping babies is fine. Sounds like you also qualify to be citizen of the year or a Casey Anthony juror.

We don’t need to go to trial every time someone steals a laptop from a car. This type of crime, we need to go to trial every time they don’t plead guilty.

Dan Dow has done more good at his job in the few months in office than all of his predecessors. You sound like an Ass Hill or Covello surrogate.

I can’t believe in what I am reading where people that are assumed Christians are coming down so hard on Mr. Lenny Jones by making such disgusting sexual double-entendres!!

To the alleged Christians that are guilty of this offense, I remind you that we’re to forgive and love Mr. Jones as our Yahweh god so states within the scriptures.

“For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” (Matthew 6: 14-15)

If it turns out that Mr. Jones is guilty as charged, and most importantly a Christian, he can thank our Hebrew God Yahweh that upon Judgment Day he is forgiven of his sin that he perpetuated upon these little girls.

“To him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.” (Acts 10:43)

The passage above is a part of our faith where the true Christian can do unspeakable things while on earth, but is nonetheless assured forgiveness and a pass through the Pearly Gates upon their demise if they just believe in Jesus. This is one of the many “hooks” of our faith that please and comfort us where there is no incentive not to sin, praise!

One can be forgiven but still must stand for his or her punishment. You forgive your child but still dish out punishment. If anyone alive thinks when they arrive in heaven all will be cool and no punishment will be put upon you for your sins because you will be forgiven you had better rethink that and fast.

          Rambunctious,

Are you calling the Hebrew Yahweh god a liar?! All any Christian has to do is believe in Jesus, and you’re forgiven, period!

“To him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.” (Acts 10:43)

That is why I stated if Larry Jones is a true Christian and believes in Jesus, he will be forgiven outright. The scripture states this without any insidious spin doctoring like you’re trying to impose.

“For it is for this we labor and strive, because we have fixed our hope on the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of believers.” (1 Timothy 4:10)

KEY WORDS: “All men.” But, especially of believers, as in addition to all men that are not believers (Atheists) will be saved regardless of whether they believe or not, get it?

I am sorry that you can’t stand what the bible actually says. I will pray for your true enlightenment, and you can thank me later.

Forgiven after forgiveness is requested. One must truly be sorry for their sin. But I don’t think that even the forgiven face no punishment. It’s just my belief. Why have sin or forgiveness without learning? Makes no sense. For one to learn from his or her mistakes one must face the consequences for their actions. Like I said we forgive our children but we still punish their bad behavior.

Ted, you are pure evil. Invoking the Bible and Christian faith just to make YOUR point…that you do not believe in Jesus, forgiveness of sins, or religion as a whole.

I feel for you Ted. It must be a frightening a lonely life for you.

Mr. Jones will pay for his sins and the girls will, through care, recover, become stronger, and do good things for us all.

        TaxMeAgain,

No, Larry Jones will be forgiven outright of this molestation charge by Jesus because the bible does not lie, and I take offense to you trying in vain to rewrite the bible! All Larry Jones has to do is believe in Jesus, or if he doesn’t, he is still saved pro gratis as the passages state below.

“To him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.” (Acts 10:43)

“For it is for this we labor and strive, because we have fixed our hope on the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of believers.” (1 Timothy 4:10)

The one you should feel for is you, since you make a mockery of calling Jesus and the bible a liar!

I will pray for you as well.

Ted is toying with you Christians by going back and forth between Old and New Testament scripture, Taliban vs. Yoga Rave Party. As Ned Flanders would say; it is a dilly of a pickle.

I’m more forgiving than that. Lethal injection, like when my cat had leukemia. One shot to go to sleep in 20 minutes, then the kill shot. He didn’t suffer.
